SAN JOSE— Cyril Isnard has been appointed general manager of the Fairmaont San Jose, effective immediately. Isnard previously held the position of the general manager at the Fairmont Dallas. In his new role, Isnard will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotel, and will oversee the nearly-completed construction of the hotel’s new $67 million tower, which will add 264 guestrooms and suites and 20,000 square feet of meeting space. The tower is scheduled for completion in February 2002. Isnard brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, and has previously managed luxury properties for Meridien Hotels and Disneyland, Paris.
