SAN FRANCISCO The Fairmont San Francisco will commemorate its $85 million restoration on February 9, 2001 with a gala featuring eight-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist Natalie Cole and Tony Award-winning actor Michael Crawford.
Approximately 850 guests will attend the ceremony, which will unveil the hotels recreated 1907 design with original marble floors, ornate domes, and intricate design work. (2/8/01)
