TORONTO HOTEL BUSINESS. has learned that Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is in negotiations with Radler Enterprises to bring a full-service luxury hotel to the Pavilion on Post Oak, a half-vacant Galleria-area retail center.

A spokesperson for Fairmont confirmed that they are interested in inking the development deal saying, We are pursuing it. It s a good development with a good developer.

Radler Enterprises, owner of the Pavilion on Post Oak (a desirable address), said that the Houston-based real estate firm has not finalized a deal yet. The firm did confirm however that it is looking to redevelop the site and is in negotiations with several hotel companies to do so.

In addition to a hotel, Radler said it plans to offer new retail and office space, a health club and an apartment building. (2/8/01) Shannon McMullen
