WHITE PLAINS, NY— Stepping in as the new CEO at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will be Steve Heyer, who will move into the position in September, according to a published report. Heyer, who is the outgoing president and COO at Coca Cola, will replace Barry Sternlicht, who is Starwood’s chairman and current CEO. Heyer decided to leave Coca Cola once the company gave the CEO title to Neville Isdell and not Heyer, who reportedly wanted the position.
