NEW YORK As Extended Stay America continues to add hotels as rapidly as it can, with plans to invest $250 million in 28 hotels in 2001 and $350 million planned for construction next year, analysts wonder if the company will soon begin to disappoint investors. Skeptics are concerned that the company will not be able to fill all of those new hotel rooms in a slowing economy. They also have questions about the performance of the company s older properties.
