GERMANTOWN, TN- Equity Inns recently reopened a 100-room hotel in Wilkesboro, NC as a Holiday Inn Express. The property was reflagged from an independent hotel following completion of a $1 million renovation program that included the complete redesign of the lobby and breakfast rooms, substantial upgrades of the guestrooms and meeting rooms and the addition of an exercise facility. It is the REITms first conversion to the Holiday Inn Express brand. (11/9/00)
