GERMANTOWN, TN— Three more hotels have been added to Equity Inns, Inc.’s portfolio. The REIT acquired the properties through two separate transactions. In one deal, Equity Inns bought two hotels in Jacksonville, FL, for about $12.5 million. The properties are an 81-room Courtyard by Marriott and a 78-suite Residence Inn by Marriott. In the other transaction, Equity Inns acquired a 93-room Courtyard by Marriott in Bowling Green, KY, for $6.9 million. MMI Hotel Group will operate both Jacksonville assets. LinGate Hospitality will manage the Bowling Green hotel.
