ST. PAUL, MN—The Embassy Suites Saint Paul Downtown has completed renovations to its 208 all-suite guestrooms. The $8.5-million renovation to the historic hotel focused on improving the overall guest experience by redesigning each entire guest suite.
The guest suites were completely renovated to display a more polished and inviting look, and included changes to furniture, decorative lighting and wall color. Additionally, each guestroom features the Embassy Essentials Bedding Collection, including the Suite Dreams mattress and box spring, Super Topper mattress pad and luxurious linens.
“This renovation is exciting for both our hotel and downtown St. Paul,” Charles Goldberg, general manager of Embassy Suites St. Paul Downtown, said in a statement. “The historic property is 30 years old, and the improved modern guest suites and the upcoming enhancements to the hotel’s public spaces will position us as the premier hotel in downtown St. Paul.”
The hotel is owned by an affiliate of Platinum Equity and is managed by Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality. Both Platinum Equity and Aimbridge oversaw the renovations.
Located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota, the historic Embassy Suites St. Paul Downtown is located near some of the area’s largest corporations and most popular attractions. The hotel offers more than 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a fitness center, heated indoor pool, a full-service business center and Cork’s Irish Pub.
