DENVER— The 210-unit Embassy Suites Hotel Denver International Airport-Gateway has completed a six-month, $4 million full-scale renovation, updating all of its interior and exterior spaces. “We practically built a new hotel for $4 million, and we believe we will see a return on our investment with increased occupancy rates, said Greg McKenna, director/ sales and marketing. Exterior renovations replaced the roof, painted the outside walls and added new lighting around the building and throughout the landscaping. Interior renovations refurbished the suites, conference facilities, amenities, lobby and other public spaces. Additionally, the 100-person restaurant was completely redone with new booths, tabletops and chairs, carpet, light fixtures and the hotel also resurfaced its indoor pool and spa and installed a new red clay surface surrounding the pool. “The renovations are more than just curb appeal, said McKenna. “We gave the hotel a complete face lift, inside and out, that will help the Embassy Suites Hotel DIA-Gateway continue our 15-year track record as one of the leading hotels in this market.”
