SAN FRANCISCO— Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels announced that Anwar Elgonemy will relocate from the firms Miami office to San Francisco. He will be the first JLLH executive to be dedicated to Northern California. Elgonemy will be part of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels West Coast operation, which is headed by Arthur Buser, managing director, based in Los Angeles. “The San Francisco market will recover and provide hotel transaction opportunities,” said Arthur Adler, managing director/CEO, Americas, of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. “Anwar is well suited to drive our expansion efforts in the Northern California region, having extensive hotel investment experience in the San Francisco Bay Area.” Since joining Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in April 2001, Elgonemy assisted in the Club Med Huatulco and Club Med Sonora Bay transactions in Mexico. On the advisory side, he has performed valuations and strategic studies for a wide variety of product types, including convention centers, waterfront mixed-use developments, destination resorts and boutique hotels.
