LAS VEGAS— Timeshare units are reportedly being considered by Planet Hollywood International Inc. Chairman Robert Earl for a vacant parcel next to the Aladdin here. Earl and his partners plan to purchase the resort out of bankruptcy protection. The 4 1/2-acre site under consideration for timeshare development is located on Harmon Avenue, east of the Aladdins main entrance. Earl is planning to transform the Aladdin into the Planet Hollywood hotel-casino. Other timeshare projects are being developed in Las Vegas. Hilton Hotels Corp opened its $128 million Hilton Grand Vacations Club timeshare tower on a 10-acre site north of Circus Circus in January. In addition, Marriott International is developing the Chateau, a $300 million, four-tower timeshare complex next to Polo Towers, across Harmon Avenue from the Aladdin.
