SCHAUMBURG, IL— Drury Inns Inc. has sold its Drury Inn in Schaumburg, IL. NAI Global Hotels spoke for Drury Inns in the deal for the suburban Chicago asset. The undisclosed new owner will now reflag the four-story, 124-room property. The hotel features an indoor pool and whirlpool, free wireless Internet access and 1,410 square feet of meeting space. According to Drury Inns’ vp of development, Joe Pereles, Drury Inns sold the asset because it wants to increase its presence in the Chicago area with its new prototype on sites that meet its current selection criteria.
