ATLANTA—Doug Collins has launched new nationwide hotel brokerage firm DC Hospitality, which handles all brands, sizes and styles of properties.
Collins has served as a hotel owner, developer and franchisor. Most recently, he was chairman and CEO of America’s Best Franchising, where he operated 300 properties under multiple brands. Previously, he served as president of Days Inn, where he was responsible for more than 1,800 franchised properties and a portfolio of owned and managed hotels.
“Our job is to help every client find the proper balance of profitability for today and potential for the future,” Collins said.
Collins’ son, Neil Collins, will also join the venture. He possesses more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and marketing services in hotel operations. He served in senior management positions in America’s Best Franchising and Cornerstone Hospitality.
Collins concluded, “Neil and I think like hotel owners because we have been hotel owners and developers. We know how to craft deals that allow both sides in every transaction to win.”
Currently, DC Hospitality is recruiting brokers and intends to open offices in major cities such as Washington, DC, Chicago and Orlando.
