CELAYA, MEXICO—Hilton Worldwide inked a new DoubleTree by HIlton via a management agreement with Inmobiliaria Ugon SA de CV for a 132-room hotel expected to open here in late 2015.
Guestrooms and suites will feature the Sweet Dreams by DoubleTree Sleep Experience beds, Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products, HDTV flat-screen televisions, in-room tea- and coffee-making service, work desks with data ports, MP3-compatible clock radios and wireless high-speed Internet access.
Other features will include two restaurants, recreational facilities, fitness center outfitted with Precor equipment, an indoor swimming pool, more than 12,800 sq. ft. of function space and a complimentary 24-hour business center.
The nine-story DoubleTree by Hilton Celaya will be 64 miles from the Guanajuato International Airport and 48 miles from the Queretaro Intercontinental Airport.
Located in the southeast of the state of Guanajuato, along the Pan-American Highway, Celaya forms part of Mexico’s main industrial corridor. The city owes its economic development to the manufacturing industry and its position in the middle of the triangle formed by the cities of Mexico, Monterrey and Guadalajara.
