NOTTINGHAM, U.K. —DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its 25th hotel in the U.K.— DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham – Gateway. The hotel is operated under a franchise with Exceptional Resorts and Hotels (UK) Ltd., which will manage the hotel. Renovations began in 2013 with an estimated investment of $8.2 million.
The new hotel houses 105 guestrooms and suites, with 250 parking spaces. The guestrooms include an en suite shower room, complimentary in-room tea and coffee-making facilities, and complimentary WiFi and hardwired access. The hotel also offers the Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast.

The property features Blossoms restaurant, which offers views over the moat. Set in the heart of the building, with designs of natural wood, marble and foliage, the restaurant serves both a set menu and an à-la-carte option. Topaz Bar serves drinks and snacks until late, and The Lobby serves afternoon tea.
