MCLEAN, VA—DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland – Westlake has opened. Formerly a Holiday Inn, DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland – Westlake opens following a multimillion-dollar transformation that includes a total renovation of the hotel’s guestrooms, public areas, and meeting and banquet rooms. The hotel is owned by Cleveland Airport Hospitality and managed by Twin Tier Hospitality.
The hotel is located approximately 12 miles from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, and is also close to the Crocker Park Outdoor Shopping Center and local business destinations, including OnBase by Hyland, Ford Motor Co., Ridge Tool and the Cleveland Clinic. Other nearby attractions are Huntington Beach and Cedar Point amusement park, the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hotel is also a 16-mile drive to downtown Cleveland.
The five-story, 267-room DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland – Westlake debuts a contemporary design marked by neutral color tones and stonework throughout the hotel. Locally influenced artwork is presented in the hotel’s public areas, featuring the area’s notable landmarks. Guestrooms feature all modern accommodations and complimentary WiFi, available in guestrooms and throughout the hotel. Complimentary amenities available to guests include an indoor heated pool, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center and airport shuttle.
The hotel also debuts the Sanctuary Restaurant, led by chef Chris Hodgson. A collaboration between Twin Tier Hospitality and Driftwood Restaurant Group, the restaurant is open for all-day dining. Catering is also available to enhance any function.
DoubleTree by Hilton Cleveland – Westlake offers 11,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Among the hotel’s newly renovated event space are four conference rooms, a grand ballroom and seven flexible meeting rooms.
