NEW ORLEANS— Dometic, a manufacturer of minibars, showcased the latest addition to its lineup with its Grapevine door sensor system at the HITEC show here last week. Designed to help cut labor costs, the semi-automatic refreshment center system prints out a list of all refreshment centers that have been opened and need restocking. Operated through the existing AC electrical wiring, Grapevine can be used with either freestanding or built-in refreshment centers. In addition, after restocking, the attendant triggers a Restock Switch, which gives an audible signal and resets the system counter to zero.
