HAMPSHIRE, U.K.— Dolce Norton manor, the first Dolce Conference Destination in the United Kingdom, has completed a 12-month, $3.5 million expansion and renovation project. The hotel marked the completion with a gala event Feb. 15. Mark dePiero, svp/operations, Europe, and Roger Barr, the hotels GM, officially opened the new hotel wing and Dolce Spa with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Parent company Dolce Internationals American-style conference center concept blends five-star meeting facilities and services with four-star hotel comfort. Forty guestrooms have been added at Norton Manor, bringing the total to 104. The property now also offers a new swimming pool, fitness center, whirlpool and sauna. The original 12 meeting rooms, 64 guestrooms and restaurant have all been renovated, and each meeting room has been given a technology boost. Dolce Norton Manor, with its Historic Manor house as the centerpiece of this three-building conference center, is situated on 54 acres of sculpted gardens and sloping lawns in the Hampshire countryside. It overlooks a private lake.
