ATLANTA Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy LLP and PKF Consulting are hosting a seminar entitled Doing Hotel Deals in 2001″ on April 25 from 7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel-Buckhead here. The purpose of this event is to bring together top real estate professionals to share how to get hotel deals done in 2001. Both the legal and consulting viewpoints will be covered in the business context.
Mark Woodworth, executive managing director of The Hospitality Research Group, the research affiliate of San Francisco-based PKF Consulting, will present an overview of the U.S. lodging industry. Woodworth will also discuss key findings from PKF s recently released “Atlanta General Manager s Survey” which the firm produces annually for the Atlanta CVB. Scott Smith of PKF will also present the findings of the firm s recently published “Hospitality Investment Survey” including what lenders and investors expectations are for the balance of the year.
