DETROIT— The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau has launched a new leisure travel promotion for 2002 designed to encourage visitors and residents to stay in hotels. Anyone who books the ‘Detroit Entertainment’ hotel package will receive a 2002 metro Detroit Entertainment Book, which retails for $35 and offers coupons for restaurants, attractions, retailers, car rentals and special events. Most coupons are 2-for-1 offers or 50% discounts. More than 80 hotels are participating in the promotion.
