Tarrytown, NY–According to reports out of this New York City suburb, Dolce International Holdings is selling its Tarrytown House hotel to Destination Hotels & Resorts of Englewood, CO. The deal reportedy will close next month.. Dolce began managing Tarrytown House in 1994 and acquired the property three years later. Tarrytown House consists of two 19th-century mansions, the King House and the Biddle Mansion, as well as 212 guest rooms and 30 meeting rooms totaling more than 30,000 square feet of space. Meeting and reception venues include the Tarrytown Room, which can accommodate up to 220 guests and the 5,500-square-foot Mary Duke Room, which holds up to 400 guests. In 2001, Dolce completed a $15 million renovation and expansion of Tarrytown House that increased the number of guest rooms and suites to 209, and added a new lobby and registration area. The renovation allowed Dolce Tarrytown House to accommodate much larger corporate groups than the 30 to 40 range it was limited to previously.
