DENVER—The Oxford Hotel namedt Afsi Bird general manager of the historic 80-room hotel.
Bird joins The Oxford from Hotel Terra Jackson Hole in Teton Village, WY, a luxury eco-boutique hotel where she had served as general manager since it opened in 2007. Prior to that, she served as the director of rooms at the Four Seasons Resort San Diego Aviara, the Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara and the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. She also held several management positions over nine years at the Four Seasons Hotel Newport Beach.
Originally opened in 1891, The Oxford Hote’s individually decorated guestrooms offer features such as claw-foot bathtubs, floor-to-ceiling Chinese silk curtains and French and English antiques.
The hotel also has 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and the Oxford Club, Spa & Salon, a full-service day spa, hair salon and fitness center.
The hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and houses an extensive collection of Western American art.
