DENVER— Walter Isenberg, president, CEO and co-founder of Sage Hospitality Resources, has been elected this year’s chairman of the Denver Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau. Isenberg noted the CVB is on track with convention bookings, citing 380,479 room nights for 2002 thus far. Major area events include the groundbreaking for the $268 million Colorado Convention Center and the annual meeting of the American Society of Association Executives, which will bring some 5,000 meeting planners to the city from Aug. 17-20. Isenberg founded Sage Hospitality, based here, with Zack Neumeyer in 1984.
