Davidson Turns to Knowland to Accelerate Group Sales
Knowland, a leader in hospitality group data analytics, has completed a project with management firm Davidson Hotels & Resorts that helped develop and implement a multifaceted prospecting program to re-invigorate sales teams and accelerate sales into recovery. Using the Knowland platform, properties uncovered approximately $100,000 in new business for 2021 within two weeks.
Knowland worked “outside the box” providing prospecting training, meeting and event data, plus sales engagement tools such as email templates, sample LinkedIn messages and email subject lines to improve the efficiency of proactive sales outreach. Its customer success team oversaw project management for 30 days to optimize “above the funnel” lead acquisition with counseling, training support as well as data best practices. Teams were also provided access to the Knowland platform database and its premium contact data to help them identify and drill into their top 50-to-100 target accounts.
Nomadix Expands in Hospitality and Multi-Tenant Industries

Aimbridge Hospitality Selects Medallia for Contactless Guest Communication
Aimbridge Hospitality has chosen intelligent messaging platform Medallia Zingle to streamline and scale contactless communication and enhance the overall guest experience their properties provide. The management company will leverage Medallia Zingle as its preferred solution for real-time, contactless guest communication across its properties in North America, enabling hotel operators to deliver high-touch, brand-differentiated service and experiences in real-time.
The collaboration will include several new integrations between the Medallia Zingle intelligent messaging platform and Aimbridge Hospitality’s hotel management solution and also offers custom workflows based on each property’s specific needs.
Marriott Tacoma Downtown Partners With Mobilitie
Wireless infrastructure firm Mobilitie has partnered with Marriott Tacoma Downtown, a new luxury hotel in Tacoma, WA, to bring 5G wireless capabilities to the property. Guests will soon have access to a state-of-the-art wireless network for a connected experience as they work and play.
The Marriott Tacoma Downtown is directly connected to the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. Mobilitie has installed more than 130 DAS antennas and 190 WiFi APs in both the convention center as well as in the nearby 23,000-seat Tacoma Dome and plans to install the same robust infrastructure in the newly connected hotel to allow guests to experience a seamless connection and prepare the property for 5G rollout.
