MCLEAN, VA—The Franklin Hotel Chapel Hill has joined Curio — A Collection by Hilton. According to the company, the hotel was chosen for its strong connection to the community and tradition of excellence.

On historic Franklin St., The Franklin Hotel Chapel Hill marries classic European-inspired architecture and modern furnishings, according to the company. Guestrooms feature furnished terraces overlooking downtown, as well as a pillow menu and Egyptian cotton linens. In addition to 60 standard guestrooms, the hotel has two presidential suites and five executive suites. The hotel also offers complimentary parking, breakfast and WiFi.
Dining options include Windows, which serves cooked-to-order options in addition to a hot and cold buffet, and Roberts, a bistro-lounge with covered outdoor seating on Franklin St. It offers a selection of burgers, sandwiches, salads, flatbread pizzas and desserts. For private events, 3,000 sq. ft. of flexible banquet and meeting space is available, including a Grand Terrace ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows.
The hotel is planning updates to its public spaces, which are slated to take place throughout 2015.
The Franklin, which is 25 minutes from the airport by car, is adjacent to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is walking distance to many restaurants, businesses and attractions, including Ackland Museum, Morehead Planetarium, Dean Smith Center, Research Triangle Park and Cat’s Cradle.
