ATLANTA— Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts, the official hotel sponsor of the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), the largest womens professional association and women business owners organization in the country, this year will host NAFEs 30th anniversary conference at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan Hotel, May 31-June 1. More then 600 executives are expected to attend. Crowne Plaza sponsors NAFE through support of the event and through special member benefits such as the Passport to Privilege program, which offers members a choice complimentary room upgrades, continental breakfast, in-room movie, local calls or fax services. “Our relationship with NAFE is just one example of Crowne Plazas ongoing and increasing efforts directed toward the female business traveler,” said Allison Cripps, director of marketing planning for the brand. “Female business travelers book more than 40% of room nights for our brand. We believe its important to partner with organizations that focus on, recognize the contributions of and provide opportunities for working women.” Crowne Plaza developed a travel advisory council whose members provide insight and guidance on womens initiatives and programs. NAFEs executive director, Melissa Wahl, serves on the council. The brand also sponsors the Business Womens Network, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and LPGA tour professional Liselotte Neumann.
