ATLANTA—The 260-room Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport has opened following a nearly $9-million renovation by Seatac Airport Hospitality, LLC, the property’s owner.

The hotel, located one block from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, is catered to business travelers, with Internet sign-on, free WiFI, one-click secure wireless printing and easy access to power outlets and charging cords.

“We know our guests need to be productive when they’re on the road for work,” said Gina LaBarre, VP, Americas Brand Management, Crowne Plaza, IHG. “Particularly at an airport hotel, where guests often feel rushed and hurried, it’s important that we provide an environment that enables them to focus on getting their work done.”

The site features easy access to the airport with the walkable sky bridge and complimentary airport shuttle, running every 20 minutes. It offers 12,000 sq. ft. of meeting space as well as the Crowne Plaza meetings program, including a two-hour response guarantee to RFPs, a meetings director and a daily meeting debrief.

The renovation encompasses guest rooms, guest baths and guest corridors in addition to a new public space layout and interior design package. The restaurant serves Pacific Northwest cuisine.

GM Ken Stockdale said, “We are very pleased to join the Crowne Plaza brand, which we feel is a strong fit for a growing international airport hub. The Crowne Plaza services and amenities we now provide will position us well to serve our share of the nearly 35 million passengers that pass through the Seattle airport each year.”
