Wichita, KS— Valor Lodging, based here, has reportedly signed a contract to buy the three-story former Printing Inc. building at Second and Rock Island and convert it into a 120-unit Courtyard by Marriott. The deal is expected to close in 30 days, according to the company. Valor will own the $11 million hotel. AG Holdings LLC will manage the property. The Courtyard by Marriott will be the second hotel in Old Town, along with Hotel at Old Town at 830 E. 1st. The hotels location is one of the prime spots in the area, directly east of Old Town Square, which has tenants such as Old Chicago, the Warren Theatre and several restaurants and retail shops. The hotel will employ 30 to 40 part- and full-time staff. Its expected to have annual revenues of $3 million to $4 million, the company says.
