ITHACA, NY—Hilton Worldwide and Cornell have renewed a three-year strategic corporate alliance to support education and research at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA).
“Cornell and Hilton Worldwide have a historic partnership dating back to Conrad Hilton’s association with the school. With Hilton Worldwide’s strategic alliance renewal, we are very grateful for the continuing support of our students, faculty and alumni and are excited to expand our relationship,” stated Meg Keilbach, assistant dean, alumni affairs and development, SHA. “As one of the premier global leaders in our industry, Hilton Worldwide brings a wealth of knowledge, innovation and global expertise to our strategic corporate alliance program.”
Under the renewed alliance, Hilton Worldwide will:
• continue as a corporate partner of the Center for Hospitality Research and support the school’s research projects;
• continue as an industry fellow of the Center for Real Estate and Finance, which creates knowledge about real estate and the impact of capital markets on commercial real estate;
• become a corporate member of the Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations, a platform for students, employers, employees, unions, and their advocates involved in the hospitality industry; and
• sponsor the school’s premier industry events, including the Cornell Hospitality Icon & Innovator Awards, Dean’s Leadership Series, Cornell Hospitality Research Summit, and Hotel Ezra Cornell
