TOKYO— Conrad Hotels is set to open its first property in Japan here in July. The Conrad Tokyo will occupy the top 10 floors of the 37-story Tokyo Shidome Building, which overlooks Tokyo Bay. The hotel will offer 290 rooms, including 68 suites; six banquet and meeting rooms; a bar and lounge and three restaurants— one of which is a French restaurant by London-based celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay. It will also include the largest hotel spa and fitness complex in Tokyo, at 1,400sq m. Facilities will include a 25m swimming pool and 10 treatment rooms. The luxury Conrad Hotels brand is a joint venture equally owned by Hilton Hotels Corporation and Hilton International.
