SEATTLE— Columbia Hospitality, a hospitality management and consulting company based here, announced the promotions of Matt Baer and Jim Chittenden. Baer has been named executive chef for the Bell Harbor International Conference Center and World Trade Center Seattle. Prior to this promotion, Baer was the chef at the World Trade Center Seattle. Also, he was the executive chef at the Scottsdale Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ. Chittenden, a 15-year hospitality industry veteran, has been appointed director/operations at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center and World Trade Center Seattle. He was previously food & beverage director for both venues.
