Choice Names Goldberg VP Strategy And Business Development

SILVER SPRING, MD— Choice Hotels International has named David Goldberg, vp/strategy and business development. In his new position, Goldberg will be responsible for “developing corporate strategy; identifying and creating corporate growth and cost reduction opportunities; streamlining processes and leading new technology initiatives; and ensuring the best use of organization capital and resources,” according to Choice. Goldberg has been with Choice since 1999 and has held positions in the areas of strategy, operational effectiveness and the introduction of new technology. Goldberg reports directly to Joe Squeri, svp, CFO and treasurer of Choice.
