SCO PAULO Choice Atlantica Hotels opened the 126-room upscale Quality Hotel Fortaleza located on northeastern Brazil s Meireles Beach.
The $15 million oceanfront hotel is franchised, leased and operated by Choice Atlantica Hotels and developed by Diagonal Emprendimentos Engenharia, an engineering firm.
This is the first hotel that Choice Atlantica has constructed from the ground up, and the first of two hotels to be developed with Diagonal Emprendimentos Engenharia. A 220-room Comfort Hotel Fortaleza is expected to open several blocks from the Quality Hotel Fortaleza later this year. (3/21/01)
