CHICAGO—The Renaissance North Shore Hotel here in April will begin a two-year renovation project.
According to General Manager Dick Turner, the renovation “will change the entire dynamic of the hotel.”
The renovation will focus on revamping the guestrooms with new wall covering, carpeting, bedding and adding in-room safes and refrigerators. Additionally, the property will enhance guestroom WI-FI with multiple access points.
The Northbrook Ballroom and The Greenery event space also will receive a complete renovation.
A full renovation and design change for the hotel lobby, Rook’s Corner restaurant and lobby lounge, as well as all remaining meeting and event facilities, will take place next winter.
