Chanler Names New GM

NEWPORT, RI— Tim Thuell has been appointed general manager of The Chanler here in Newport. Thuell has 25 years of management experience at small luxury hotels in the U.S. and the Caribbean. Most recently, he spent two years as general manager at Meadowood in Napa Valley, CA. The historic Chanler was the first mansion on the famed Cliff Walk, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
