LOS ANGELES— The 1960s era Century Plaza Hotel here has been added to the National Trust for Historic Preservations list of most endangered sites, complicating plans to demolish it. Local developer Michael Rosenfeld has planned to replace the curving, low-rise hotel, presently managed as a Hyatt, with two condo hotel towers. Preservationists consider the existing build to be a prime example of mid-20th century modernism and, therefore, worth saving.
