PARSIPPANY, NJ— Cendant Corporation announced the appointment of Daniel Tarantin, 33, to serve as chief revenue officer, Cendant Financial Services Group, which includes FISI-Madison Financial, Benefits Consultants Inc. and Long Term Preferred Care Inc. Tarantin will be responsible for all revenue and sales functions, and client relationships for the three financial services businesses. Tarantin will also serve as president, FISI-Madison Financial. For the past two years, Tarantin served as President and CEO of Jackson Hewitt Inc., the nations second largest and fastest growing tax preparation services firm. Replacing Tarantin is Michael Lister, 47, who will serve as president and COO, Jackson Hewitt Inc. Lister will report to Cendants Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Vehicle and Financial Services Divisions, John W. Chidsey, and will be responsible for all nationwide Jackson Hewitt operations, including technology, franchise services and sales for Jackson Hewitts more than 3,300-location system.
