MAHWAH, NJ— Travel Inventory Marketing Alliance, LLC (TIMA) and CCRA, a negotiated-preferred rate hotel program, have formed a partnership designed to significantly increase the wholesale inventory offered to CCRAS portal hotel program. CCRA is utilized by more than 30,000 travel agencies and holds block space at major hotels worldwide, booking in excess of 20 million hotel room nights each year. Under the new agreement, CCRA will open TIMAs inventory to all of its portal members. Hotel sales and distribution specialists First Internet Travel and Tourist Bureau Marketing formed TIMA in May 2002 to create a relationship between wholesale inventory suppliers and distributors. TIMA promotes and maintains a centralized travel inventory communication hub and content database (IID) facilitating the supply and distribution of travel inventory.
