MINNEAPOLIS— Carlson Hotels Worldwide said it will suspend cancellation fees for its Radisson Hotels & Resorts, Park Plaza hotels, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, and Park Inn hotels in North and South America, India, Asia and the Pacific, effective now through May 1, 2003. Cancellation fees will be waived for groups or meetings that are scheduled to take place between March 20, 2003 and May 1, 2003, provided that the business is re-booked to take place by December 31, 2003, said the company. In addition, the company said it would waive all charges for booking cancellations or changes that would apply to individual reservations for arrivals between March 20, 2003 and May 1, 2003. These policies apply to bookings made via individual hotel brand web sites, hotel brand toll-free numbers, travel agents or with the hotel directly. Cancellation policies for Regent International Hotels are set by the individual properties, noted the company.
