NEW YORK Following a strategic review, CapitaLand, the Asian property company that owns 60% of Raffles Holdings, has decided against selling its hotels operation. Instead, it intends to seek a partner to help develop the brand, which currently comprises approximately 6,000 guestrooms. British hotel companies seeking viable means to expand in Asia are expected to show a strong interest in forming a partnership. (1/5/01) SOURCE: HVS International
