WICHITA, KS— Candlewood Suites said it will celebrate the grand opening of its Columbia, MO hotel on May 9. This marks the second Candlewood Suites location in Missouri, and the 103rd nationwide. The newly constructed Columbia Candlewood Suites, a mid-scale extended stay hotel, sits two miles from downtown Columbia and across the street from Regional Hospital. The hotel is owned by Hawkeye Hospitality of Burlington, IO, and managed by Lodging Unlimited of King of Prussia, PA. Hawkeye Hospitality owns and operates hotels throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
