NEW YORK— At the “Betwixt and Between: Mid-Priced Hotels” seminar during the NYU Hotel Investment Conference here, James Roos, president/COO of Candlewood Hotel Co. told attendees that Candlewood will ink a deal with a “value-oriented airline partner.” As a result of the partnership, and in an effort to increase summer travel, Candlewood will soon be launching an Internet promotion, said Roos. Any guest booking a stay for four or more nights through Candlewood’s website will receive a gift certificate for use with the company’s soon-to-be-announced airline partner. —Kelly Wayne
