SACRAMENTO, CA— The board of directors of the California Lodging Industry Association, (CLIA), has elected Jill MacDonald as chairperson for 2003. MacDonald has served on the board of CLIA for many years, previously serving as secretary and, most recently, vice chair. She is a third generation hotelier and president of MacDonald Motor Inns. Her industry perspective comes with 37 years in a family owned and operated business that includes the 60-room Quality Inn Eureka and the 55 room Benbow Inn in Garberville. The California Lodging Industry Association is the largest independent state lodging association in the United States and is currently in its 57th year of operation.
