DALLAS— Francis ‘Butch’ Cash has been elected Chairman of the Boards of Directors for La Quinta Corporation, Inc. and its controlled subsidiary La Quinta Properties, Inc. Cash has served on the Boards since being appointed president and CEO in 2000. In addition, James P. Conn, an independent director, has been appointed Lead Director. Conn has served on the Boards of La Quinta and its predecessors since 1995, including serving on the Audit, Executive, and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committees. La Quinta also announced that Clive D. Bode, Chairman since 1999 and special advisor to certain members of the Bass family of Ft. Worth, TX, has resigned from La Quinta’s Boards of Directors to devote more time to other Bass organization investments.
