Bush Stays At Forte Property

ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA— President George W. Bush chose to stay at the Hotel Astoria during his recent visit here. The hotel part is of Sir Rocco Fortes collection of luxury properties. A member of the Leading Hotels of the World, Hotel Astoria is centrally located in St. Petersburg and is next to St. Isaacs cathedral. The hotel has been fully refurbished to give is “a fresh, stylish look while retaining its individuality and Russian ambience,” according to Sir Rocco Forte, founder of the company. New additions to the hotel include Davidovs Russian restaurant, a bar, fitness center and upgraded technology both in-room and within conference and banquet suites. “We have invested a great deal in restoring the hotel to its former glory and have introduced rigorous training programs for our staff in order to deliver the facilities and service levels expected from a five-star hotel. President Bushs decision to stay with us is testament to this and we were proud to welcome him to the Astoria,” Forte said.
