POINT ROBERTS, WA— Budgethotels has signed a strategic partnership agreement with HotelQuest International Inc. of California, which adds 5,000 hotels to its platform, bringing the number of hotel choices it offers to nearly 50,000. The agreement adds HotelQuests complete inventory of over 5,000 unique properties throughout the world to Budgethotels newly launched web-based reservation system at www.budgethotels.com. In addition to adding revenue-generating properties, the agreement provides for a commission of 10% on all HotelQuest rooms booked on the www.budgethotels.com site. The deal adds marquis properties like Intercontinental, Crown Plaza and Adams Mark, in addition to expanding Budgethotels core business of brands like Holiday Inn, Best Western, and Motel 6, said William Marshall, Budgethotels CEO. “This represents real progress toward multiplying our revenue base and increasing our average per-booking revenue from one dollar per reservation night to five dollars per reservation night. As we progress from an advertising-based revenue model to a commission-based one, we expect we will see revenues increase dramatically. This agreement provides a full 10% commission an all HotelQuest property reservations” said Marshall.
