ATLANTA Buckhead America Corp. has submitted an application to transfer its common stock listing to The Nasdaq SmallCap Market. The company believes that it may not meet the minimum market value of public float requirements for continued listing on The Nasdaq National Market.
Buckhead received a Nasdaq Staff Determination on November 22, 2000, which indicated that the company failed to comply with the MVPF requirements for continued listing set forth in Marketplace Rule 4450(a)(2). The company was given 90 days to regain compliance, and if it was unable to demonstrate compliance on or before February 20, or had not submitted an application to transfer to The Nasdaq SmallCap Market, its common stock would be subject to delisting from The Nasdaq National Market.
