Guests are greeted in their rooms with an assortment of environmental amenities such as herbal relaxing masks, energizing and relaxing soaps and biodegradable shampoos and conditioners. Lavender and multi-herb scents fill the room and aromatic pillows rest on the beds. The verandahs are aligned with fruit –bearing trees, and a refrigerator is stocked with organic juices. The Green Floor is set to a natural climate and filled with anti-stress herbal aromas. Delicate plants, natural stones and fountains populate the floor’s mall area. Shades of green adorn the interior and pictures made from natural fibers from banana trees and framed with reforestation wood decorate the walls. Hotel staff has been specially trained to maintain the Green Floor, which includes energy-saving devices. Carpets and furniture are cleaned with ecologic equipment using water as a filter to remove impurities.
