NEW YORK— Boutique Hotel Group (BHG), a hospitality management firm founded in 1999 and headquartered here, has assumed management of the Peery Hotel, an historic 73-room property in downtown Salt Lake City. The contract launches the companys expansion into new and existing markets. BHGs other properties include: The Mansfield, The Roger Williams, The Shoreham, The Franklin and Hotel Wales in Manhattan. In addition, BHG has formed a national sales team, created to complement existing on-site sales staff and provide improved service to cross-sell the entire portfolio. Kevin Ball, previously with Woodside Hotels and Resorts in California, has been appointed general manager. The Peery Hotel was built in 1910, during the Utah mining boom, and was completely renovated in 1999 and upgraded again in 2001.
