ATLANTIC CITY, NJ— The Borgata, a joint venture development of Boyd Gaming Corporation and MGM MIRAGE has named three executives who will be among the senior executives at the resort: Peter Finamore, vp/hospitality; Victor Tiffany, vp/food and beverage and Paul Tjoumakaris, vp/slot operations. The Borgata, a $1 billion, 2,010 room casino resort scheduled to open summer 2003, is located at Renaissance Pointe in the Marina District of Atlantic City. The property is expected to top-off at 43 stories this spring. As vp/hospitality, Finamore will oversee the development and operation of the Borgata hotel and related amenities, including guest reception, valet parking, premium guest services, and concierge, wardrobe, housekeeping, maintenance and grounds, and hotel sales. He’ll also oversee the development of the Borgata Spa. Finamore previously spent 14 years with the Peninsula Group of hotels and 10 years with Hilton International. He most recently served as the GM of The Peninsula Chicago, which opened in June 2001. As vp/F&B, Tiffany will oversee a range of restaurants, lounges and bars at the Borgata. Prior to joining the Borgata, he served as vp/F&B for the Boca Raton Resort and Club in Boca Raton, FL. Tjoumakaris, the new vp/slot operations, most recently held the same post at Caesar’s Atlantic City.
